We all knew it was coming, NoDa Brewing Co.is expanding! The local business will soon invest up to $7 millioninto a warehouse onN.Tryon Street which will become its new home. Since opening in 2011, the brewery has made great strides and is now one of Charlotte’s most popular breweries. Suzie and Todd Ford always had a passion for brewing and it was their dream to open their own brewery. The couplefell in love with the warehouse space. “We’re not fancy people. It’s just a warehouse with a rustic feel and it fits us,”Suzierecently told the Charlotte Business Journal.
With the new space will come an increase in production. The N. Davidson location operates on a 15-barrel system and thew warehouse will be able to accommodate up to 60-barrels.
With construction scheduled to begin as early as this week, the Fords plan to open the new location by the end of this summer.
