Bloomingdales Coming to Southpark Mall
There has been some gossip around town that high-end department storeBloomingdale’swill be opening a store location in SouthPark Mall, possibly replacing theMacy’sstore there as Macy’s is the parent store of Bloomingdale’s. The New York based department store has been looking to open the firstBloomingdale’sin the Carolina’s for years and as SouthPark Mall continues to attract many shoppers, this location would make sense for them. So is it true? We’ll just have to wait and see. There have not been any planning dates released for prospective new store. IfBloomingdale’sdoes open at SouthPark Mall, it would be the first store to open in the Carolinas and the 44th store in the United States.
