2012 Great Southeastern Rail Days Festival in Spencer!

Well it’s June already, so buckle your seat-belts and start gearing up for Summer! Around Charlotte and in our surrounding towns there are tons of kid-friendly events going on. For starters, tomorrow, Saturday, June 2nd from 9-5 and Sunday, June 3rd, Noon-5, in honor of the 30th Anniversary of the Norfolk Southern merger, visitors can enjoy unlimited rides aboard three different passenger trains at the North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer, NC (just outside of Salisbury). Crafts, music, magic and more activities for children. It’s FREE for ages 2 and under, and only $15-$20 for young adults and adults! This the perfect event for kids who love trains!
